What does this mean? CONCLUSION: 1. Findings are most consistent with a large hemorrhagic left ovarian cyst with evidence for recent cyst partial cyst rupture/hemorrhage with complex fluid surrounding the uterus and left ovary with small amount in the cul-de-sac. Findings similar to preceding CT study. 2. Other differential considerations include tubo-ovarian abscess or large endometrioma/fibroma. Characteristics of the lesion as well as evidence for complex fluid most consistent with hemorrhagic cyst with associated partial rupture/hemorrhage.

A cyst is a sac which usually collects fluid. A hemorrhagic cyst is one where there is bleeding into the cyst, this can occur if the cyst ruptures/some aspect of it breaks.
According to the report, the findings are in keeping with a hemorrhagic cyst (a sac with a collection of blood) with associated partial (some part of it) rupture (break up/apart) or hemorrhage/ bleeding from an area in the lining of the cyst.
